Nestled in the heart of the Basque Country, in Bidarray, the Menditarrena is a gîte with the Gîtes de France label, ideal for groups looking for adventure and the great outdoors. Its privileged location in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques makes it a perfect base for exploring the natural riches of the region, between mountains, forests and rivers. The lodge accommodates up to 50 people in 11 rooms with 50 single beds. Each private space has its own bathroom and toilet, guaranteeing comfort and privacy for each group. A room on the ground floor is accessible to people with reduced mobility. In the kitchen, groups benefit from professional equipment to prepare their meals independently, with the option of ordering breakfasts and meals/catering on site. The large dining room and the relaxation room complete the common living spaces. The major asset of Menditarrena is its program of supervised outdoor activities: hiking, climbing, mountain biking, rafting, canyoning, sea kayaking, via ferrata, hydrospeed, archery, orienteering, Basque pelota and Basque force. The Arteka team coordinates these activities directly on site, freeing the groups from any logistical organization. The site also has a snack bar (ArteKfé), a terrace, changing rooms and showers, as well as private parking. ANCV holiday vouchers and Eusko are accepted. Approved for Youth and Sport and National Education, the establishment is particularly suitable for school outings, camps, business seminars and group sporting events.
