In the heart of the Bordeaux vineyards, the Groupe de la Mondette welcomes you to a family wine estate nestled between Castillon-la-Bataille and Saint-Emilion. The group gîte occupies the outbuildings of Château La Mondette, an AOC Côtes de Castillon property, and offers your 15 guests an authentically Gironde setting where stone, vines and nature combine harmoniously. Six spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and large living spaces allow your group to relax for a whole week or a long weekend. Outside, the swimming pool and its water slide set the tone upon arrival - swimming, naps on deckchairs, aperitifs on the terrace surrounded by greenery. A private pond for fishing, a pétanque court, a ping-pong table, a volleyball/badminton net and a children's play area with swing and sandbox complete the leisure offer without leaving the property. Animal lovers will be seduced by the presence on site of goats, donkeys and birds that children love to approach. A pony ride — in hand or in a team — can be organized directly on the estate. In the evening, there's nothing like a game of darts or table football before uncorking a bottle from the house harvest during a guided tasting. The immediate environment offers numerous options for activities: horse riding 3 km away, golf 5 km away, fishing on site, canoeing 12 km away on the nearby Dordogne. The UNESCO-listed villages of Saint-Emilion and Castillon-la-Bataille punctuate your day trips with culture and gastronomy. Shops and restaurants can be reached in 5 minutes by car, the sea in less than two hours.
