Anne and Franck are happy to welcome you to their cottage with its simple and relaxing charm. The house is located in the small village of Sommeilles, in the heart of Argonne, 25 minutes from Bar le Duc, 1 hour from Reims, 1 hour 45 minutes from Metz, 1 hour 30 minutes from Nancy, and 2 hours 30 minutes from Paris (or 1 hour by train, the Meuse TGV station is 30 minutes from the gîte). This independent gîte will delight nature lovers (Argonne forest, Saulx Valley, Der lake, etc.) and lovers of historical sites (Verdun, Valmy, etc.). You will find all the comfort for 2 to 10 people, in this village house brought up to date: an equipped kitchen, a large living room with a large corner sofa, 4 large bedrooms including 1 double on the ground floor, with baby bed, and 3 bedrooms upstairs, 2 bathrooms + separate WC. The cottage is equipped with fiber (Internet and TV). The terrace has a charcoal barbecue, and you will have an enclosed area, ideal for children, with 2 goats (Cannelle and Pim’s), and 3 chickens. For the little ones: BB bed, high chair, and safety barrier, books, board games, colored pencils, Kapla... You can also visit the farm (milk and cereal production) and make friends with Franck’s cows and calves! We will also advise you on good addresses in the surrounding area and if you feel like it, we will be happy to let you taste local products.
