Le Tech is a French commune located in the south of the department of Pyrénées-Orientales, in the Occitanie region. Historically and culturally, the commune is in the Vallespir, a former viscounty, attached to France by the Treaty of the Pyrenees (1659) and corresponding approximately to the valley of the Tech, from its source down to Céret.
