The region

Les Premiers Sapins has been, since 1 January 2016, a new commune located in the department of Doubs, in the cultural and historical region of Franche-Comté and the administrative region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. It was created by the merger of the communes of the former Communauté de communes des Premiers Sapins.
