The region
Nohèdes, Noedes in Catalan, is a French commune located in the centre of the department of Pyrénées-Orientales in the Occitanie region. Historically and culturally, the commune lies in the Pays de Conflent, corresponding to the set of Pyrenean valleys that « converge » with the bed carved out by the Têt between Mont-Louis and Rodès. A good base for a group stay: from Nohèdes, the markets, trails and heritage of the area (Pyrénées-Orientales, Occitanie) are easy to explore.
