Former 18th century presbytery, completely renovated, Le Cantou accommodates up to 30 people in the heart of Périgord Vert, in Saint-Mesmin. The building retains its original inglenook fireplace - this large peasant fireplace which gave its name to the place - and has its 9 rooms (single, double, quadruple and dormitory) on a 2,500 m² wooded park. The 126 m² meeting room with cinema corner and video projector makes the site a solid choice for school trips, seminars, sports outings or association weekends. The equipped professional kitchen allows you to organize meals completely independently or with an external caterer; Breakfast, half-board and full-board options are available on request. Outside, the park offers a barbecue area and a view of the Dordognaise countryside. The immediate area is a natural playground: the Auvézère river invites you to practice canoeing and fishing, hiking trails and mountain bike trails leave directly from the village, climbing and horse riding are accessible nearby. Managed by the Saint-Mesmin Town Hall, the gîte is accessible to people with reduced mobility (room and toilets for disabled people). It accepts Holiday Vouchers, bank cards and checks.
