At the heart of a 12-hectare estate planted with olive trees on the outskirts of Béziers, Hameau Montplaisir brings together six independent gîtes to accommodate up to 36 people in a preserved Languedoc setting. Each house is named after a grape variety — Carignan (12 people), Sauvignon (10), Chardonnay (8), Merlot (6), Syrah (6) and Cabernet (6) — and has its own private space, offering both the intimacy of a holiday home and the conviviality of a shared hamlet. The heart of the estate revolves around a 70 m² reception room equipped with a semi-professional kitchen, ideal for group meals, weddings, seminars or family celebrations. Two secure swimming pools, shaded terraces, barbecues and large garden furniture complete the outdoor space. Household linen is provided, cleaning included at the end of the stay and bathroom linen renewed every week: no logistical details add to the stay. In terms of equipment, each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, oven, hotplates, dishwasher, coffee maker), a washing machine, television, DVD player and Wi-Fi. The motorway connection facilitates access from Montpellier, Toulouse or Barcelona, and the town of Béziers with its shops and restaurants is a few minutes away.

The region

Béziers is a French commune situated in the department of Hérault in the Occitanie region, near the Mediterranean Sea. It is the oldest town in France, ahead of Marseille: numerous archaeological excavations undertaken since the 1980s have shown that Béziers was founded by Greeks in the 7th century BC. A good base for a group stay: from Béziers (81 545 inhabitants), the markets, trails and heritage of the area (Hérault, Occitanie) are easy to explore.
