On the banks of the Loire, between Angers and Saumur, this group estate occupies a one hectare wooded and entirely fenced park on the banks of the river, in Gennes-Val-de-Loire (Maine-et-Loire). Two independent buildings accommodate up to 60 people in 15 rooms: building A offers 10 rooms with individual showers, building B has 5. The whole is completed by two fully equipped kitchens (fridge, hotplates, oven, microwave, crockery, dishwasher) to organize your meals in complete autonomy. The large Loire reception room (110 m², up to 90 people seated) can accommodate your events, whether it is a seminar, a family meal or a party with friends. In the park, guests enjoy a football field, a ping-pong table and a swing for children. The site is ideally located for exploring the Saumur vineyards, the Loire castles and outdoor activities: hiking and mountain biking on site, golf, horse riding, canoeing and even hot air ballooning nearby. The area is directly accessible from the cycle route linking Angers to Saumur. WiFi is included, a night porter is included in the price, and the owner Sylvie Pierre can be contacted directly for reservations.

The region

Gennes-Val-de-Loire has been, since 1 January 2018, a new French commune situated in the department of Maine-et-Loire, in the Pays de la Loire region. It resulted from the merger of the former communes of Gennes-Val de Loire, Les Rosiers-sur-Loire and Saint-Martin-de-la-Place. A practical spot for a group: Gennes-Val-de-Loire (8 429 inhabitants) lets you alternate long shared meals at the gîte with outings nearby (Maine-et-Loire, Pays de la Loire).
