Anchored on the banks of the Loire in Liré, the Château de la Turmelière is an exceptional historic estate which accommodates up to 74 people in 20 rooms all equipped with private shower rooms and WC. Covering nearly 1,200 m² spread over 3.5 floors, the castle combines the character of Angevin architecture with modern equipment: three modular reception rooms (Joachim du Bellay, Pierre de Ronsard, La Pléiade), fully professional kitchens and a spacious 50 m² reception hall. The site has a sports complex, a fleet of bicycles for rent and has benefited from the European Ecolabel label since 2022 as well as the La Loire à Vélo and Accueil Vélo certifications. Ideally positioned for business seminars, association retreats or large family reunions, the castle offers several price options: self-catering for exclusive rental or half-board and full-board for weekends. Cleaning is included, bed linen available for rental and defibrillator available on site. A place steeped in history, labeled and respectful of the environment, a stone’s throw from the Loire à Vélo cycle route.
